Standing on the shore of Holmes Beach, Florida, under a canopy of dark and heavy clouds spanning out across the Gulf of Mexico, I paused to take in a scene that overwhelmed me. The setting sun, the sound of the rolling surf and the movement of all that was above me, made the moment perfect and humbling.
